The position is located in the Operations - Transportation department. As a Transportation member, you are primarily responsible for implementing a comprehensive Arrivals & Departures concept for all participants, athletes and other stakeholders.
Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:
- You are part of the ‘Transportation’ department
- Implementation of the airport arrival/departure concept
- Support for the subject area Transportation (Bus Operations, Fleet Operations, Venue Operations)
- Managing relationships with transport and fleet providers, public transport authorities and airport authorities.
- Contact person within the organisation for sub-areas of Transportation
Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:
- Experience in the areas of Transport Operations: Arrivals & Departures
- Understanding of the respective sub-areas Bus Operations, Fleet Operations, Venue Operations, Fleet Management, Car Park Management
- Working knowledge of English required
- Excellent reliability, teamwork and communication skills
- Well-structured, conceptual and networked thinking. Strong hands-on mentality
- Systematic and solution-orientated way of working
- Sensitivity to the needs of the participants
- High degree of flexibility and engaging demeanour
