Full-time / 40 hours per week / temporary contract until 31 July 2025
Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks
- Together with the Beach Volleyball team, you will work on the planning, organisation and implementation of the sport in preparation for and during Games Time. This includes, for example:
- You ensure the smooth running of the competitions
- You will act as the interface to the respective national and regional sports association and local clubs
- You will draw up schedules and timetables (e.g. the Detailed Competition Schedule, Event Schedule) and ensure that these are implemented and adhered to
- You communicate a lot with other functional areas (e.g. Venue Management, Broadcast, Delegation Services, Transport, Sport Entries, etc.), service providers, volunteers and other people involved in the competition, plan tasks and shifts and coordinate them
- You create sport-specific documents, regulations and documents with information on the organisation of the sport of Beach Volleyball and coordinate them
- You support the area of athlete registration
- You support administrative tasks as well as the preparation, follow-up and organisation of meetings
- You ensure that all competitions are organised in accordance with the applicable rules
Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:
- You have strong project management skills, which you have ideally already used in the organisation, management and implementation of Beach Volleyball competitions.
- You keep an overview even under time pressure
- You have a well-structured, conceptual and networked way of thinking and a strong hands-on mentality.
- You can coordinate and guide various interest groups and have the necessary sensitivity for their needs.
- You combine persuasiveness, assertiveness & organisational skills with high emotional intelligence and communication skills (also in English).
