In 2025, the world will come to the Rhine and Ruhr region to celebrate sport, science and culture. Up to 8,500 athletes and officials from around 150 nations will compete in six cities for 12 days - in 18 different sports. Standards are set here - where the densest university landscape in Europe meets the most sports clubs in Germany, in one exceptionally sport-loving region.

To strengthen our team, we are looking from July 15th to July 28th, 2025 for a
 
Volunteering in the Spectator Services Department (m/f/d)
 
Together with the team, you will ensure that we can deliver an unforgettable experience to the spectators and have the chance to experience part of the Games as a visitor yourself.

Following tasks are your main focus:

  • Responsibility for one venue for one sport, including coordination of volunteers, shift changes, briefings and all services for spectators
  • First point of contact for up to 100 volunteers at your location
  • Close cooperation with venue management
  • Ensuring smooth operations and daily services during the Games
  • Crowd management and coordination in the event of problems on site with spectators 
  • Looking after and supporting spectators and ensuring their well-being

You bring the following skills & knowledge with you:

  • Good knowledge of German and English
  • Availability during the specified period
  • Motivation to help shape the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games on a voluntary basis
