Up to 8,500 athletes and officials from around 150 nations will compete in six cities for 12 days - in 18 different sports. Standards are set here - where the densest university landscape in Europe meets the most sports clubs in Germany, in one exceptionally sport-loving region.

In freelance work (fee-for-service contract) for the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games
temporary contract from 16.07. to 16.08.2025
 
The position is located within the Stakeholder Management department. The Functional Area (FA) Stakeholder Management is responsible for guest management. 
 
We are hiring for the following locations:
  • Mülheim
  • depending on the situation according to VA and guests - NRW only

Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:

  • You are the main representative of stakeholder management in the venue
  • You are responsible for the coordination and organization of all guests and short-term support tasks at the venues (Welcome, routing etc.)
  • Issue of VAPPs
  • You are the supporting interface on the stakeholder management side for the smooth interaction of venue management, main operation, sports, event presentation and stakeholder management
  • You synchronize the processes between event management, venue management and the event
  • You are the operational employee for various activities in stakeholder management

Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Multiple experience in festival implementation and stakeholder support at events of a similar scale 
  • Strong intercultural competence
  • Well-structured, conceptual and networked thinking. Distinct hands-on mentality 
  • Systematic and solution-oriented way of working 
  • Sensitivity to the needs of the participants
  • Persuasiveness, assertiveness & organizational skills  
  • High degree of flexibility and an engaging demeanor

The work is compensated with a project fee based on the duration of the assignment and the experience and expertise you bring with you. Meals on site will be covered by RR25; travel and accommodation costs will not be remunerated separately.
