Full-time / 40 hours per week / compulsory internship for 3-6 months
Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:
- Supporting the marketing and communication co-operations in the host cities
- Compilation of information and materials for brand promotion for stakeholders
- Planning and support for events in the host cities
- Supporting the guest management, including
- Preparing and coordinating invitation management, creating, editing and coordinating guest lists
- Acting as contact person for various target groups
- Supporting site visits to the stadiums for external guest groups
- Supporting the administrative preparation, realisation and follow-up of internal and external events and appointments (invitation management, correspondence and taking minutes for committees and internal and external meetings)
- Support in the management of written and electronic correspondence (serial letters, e-mails, reports, memos, templates, telephone support, etc.)
- Support in the preparation of project reports, documentation and presentations
- Support in the realisation of price comparisons
- Creation of reports and analyses
- Schedule coordination, deadline monitoring
- Taking on and working on your own topics in the area of stakeholder management (e.g. in the areas of sustainability strategy, marketing, communication, volunteer support)
- Co-operation with the functional areas involved
Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:
- Enrolment at a college/university/vocational school, ideally in the fields of event management, hospitality management, guest management, marketing, sports management, sports economics, or similar
- Compulsory internship according to study regulations for a duration of 3-6 months
- Experience of working or volunteering at sporting events is an advantage
- Project management skills
- Interest, fascination and enjoyment of sport and major sporting events
- Strong communication skills
- Open, friendly demeanour, team player
- Structured way of working
- Good knowledge of Office 365
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
