Full-time / 40 hours per week / limited with a reason in kind until late summer 2025.
Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:
- Control, recording and posting of credit and debit transactions
- Processing, implementing and monitoring payment transactions
- Collaboration in the preparation of interim and utilisation reports for public funding bodies
- Checking and processing invoices (in particular travel costs and expenses) for full-time and voluntary staff
- Preparing and assisting with the annual financial statements
- Preparation and further development of analyses and statistics as well as participation in financial reports
- Administrative support for liquidity accounting and planning
- Collaboration in the development and optimisation of processes
- Collaboration with external financial service providers
- Internal contact person for accounting matters and advising employees on financial administration issues
- Collaboration in the preparation of decision papers and documentation of processes
Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:
- Completed commercial vocational training or comparable qualification such as administrative assistant, tax clerk or completed studies with a focus on finance
- Relevant professional experience in the above-mentioned fields of activity
- Very good application knowledge in Office365 (especially Excel)
- Experience in working with accounting software (ideally DATEV)
- Well-structured, conceptual and networked thinking
- Strong hands-on mentality paired with discretion and accuracy
- Systematic and solution-orientated way of working
- High sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team and solution-orientation
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
