Full-time / 40 hours per week / temporary contract until late summer 2025.
Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:
- Conception and development of information materials for press representatives
- Managing the content in the Media Information System
- Developing the Media Guide in collaboration with the broadcast team
- Creation of the media newsletter with information about media services
- Maintenance of the distribution list for accredited media
- Processing press inquiries from accredited press representatives
- Maintaining the photo and video database
- Implementation of events for press representatives before and during the FISU Games (for example, World Media Briefing, Media Reception, Media Venue Tour)
- Preparation of documents for press events
- Communication with external service providers
- Supporting the Media Services Manager in the preparation of all media services topics before the event and implementation at the event
- Main contact person for topics related to the Media Information System
- Administration of the Media Information System (for example, publication of news updates)
- Management of the photo and video database
- Coordination of volunteers in the operation of the Media Information System and Photo Database
Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:
- Completed university degree, preferably in journalism, communications, event or sports management or comparable qualification
- First professional experience in the field of media operations / media services at sporting events
- Understanding of the needs of press representatives at major sporting events
- Confident handling of MS Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other communication tools
- Very good knowledge of German and English (at least C1)
- An ability to work independently
- Very good organisational skills
