Up to 8,500 athletes and officials from around 150 nations will compete in six cities for 12 days - in 18 different sports. Junior Manager Ticketing (m/f/d)
 
In the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games
Full-time / 40 hours per week / temporary contract until late summer 2025.
 
The position is located within the OC in the Marketing department within the Ticketing team. Thanks to you and your team, we ensure that ticket sales and ticket management run smoothly. 

Following tasks are your main focus:

  • Ticket sales and administration
    • Processing incoming ticket enquiries, bookings and cancellations
    • Ensuring smooth, efficient processing of all transactions
    • Ongoing monitoring of stocks / quotas and ensuring availability
    • Management of free and promotional tickets (e.g. partner quotas, internal needs) including the creation of so-called secret shops
    • Continuous updating and maintenance of the online ticket shop
  • Customer-orientated support
    • Support for the ticketing@ email address and processing of all customer enquiries relating to ticketing - always solution-orientated, friendly and service-oriented
  • Monitoring & analysis
    • Preparing regular reports on ticket sales, customer feedback and KPIs
    • Analysing sales and demand trends; deriving specific recommendations for action to optimise sales and service

Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Completed university degree in sports management, event management or similar or completed training and at least 2 years of professional experience in comparable positions or comparable qualification
  • Initial knowledge in the use of ticketing software desirable
  • High affinity for administrative and service activities
  • Good user knowledge of the MS Office package
  • Analytical skills and ideally experience in analysing customer data
  • Very good communication skills, also in English
  • Organisational talent and service-oriented appearance
  • High social competence, team spirit and sense of responsibility
