Full-time / 40 hours per week / temporary contract until late summer 2025.
Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:
- You are part of the "Transportation" department
- Development of sub-projects within the field of Transportation (e.g., Bus Operations, Fleet Operations, Venue Operations, Arrival & Departure)
- Contributing to the conceptual development and implementation of a transportation, airport arrival/departure, and parking strategy
- Contributing to the development and implementation of a transportation plan to transport various participants, such as athletes, officials, and other stakeholders, from multiple hotel clusters and cities to competition and special event venues
- Assisting in the creation of contracts with transportation and fleet providers as well as public transport carriers
- Managing relationships with transportation and fleet providers, public transport authorities, and airport authorities
- Collaborating with police, regulatory, and road traffic authorities to ensure smooth operations while minimizing impacts on local residents
- Serving as the point of contact within the organization for specific areas within the Transportation field
- Contributing to the coordination of activities required for the event's execution and preparing targeted information for a wide range of stakeholders
- Assisting in the development of emergency plans for specific areas within the Transportation field
Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:
- Completed university degree in disciplines such as Event Management, Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Traffic Management, or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in planning and successfully executing events
- Knowledge or experience in fleet management, public transportation, and/or parking management
- Strong project management skills
- Communication skills (also in English)
- Experience in information dissemination and organization
- Well-structured, conceptual, and networked thinking. Strong hands-on mentality.
- Systematic and solution-oriented work approach
- Sensitivity to the needs of participants
- Persuasiveness, assertiveness, and organizational skills
- High degree of flexibility and a confident demeanor
