Intern Medical Services and Doping Control (m/f/d)
 
In the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games
Full-time / 40 hours per week / compulsory internship for 4-6 months
 
The internship will be completed in the Sports functional area. You will support the planning, organisation and implementation of medical care and anti-doping measures both in the preparation phase and during Games Time. 

Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:

  • Supporting the further development and implementation of the medical care concept for the sports involved in RR2025, taking into account the FISU guidelines, international federation requirements and the overall concept of the event 
  • Creation and coordination of schedules and deployment lists for medical and anti-doping personnel (doctors, physiotherapists, volunteers, etc.) 
  • Participation in the planning and coordination of anti-doping measures 
  • Preparation, implementation and follow-up of internal coordination with other departments, in particular with the competition and venue management of the various sports (but also e.g. Accommodation, Transport, Safety & Security, Delegation Services) 
  • Coordination and management of stakeholders, cooperation partners and service providers (e.g. hospitals, medical services, the FISU, stakeholders in the area of anti-doping) 
  • Training, support and coordination of the volunteers deployed during the event 
  • Facility management and logistics in the area of medical services and anti-doping (e.g. material procurement and coordination) 

Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Enrolment at a college/university/vocational school, ideally in the fields of health management, sports management, sports economics, event management or similar  
  • Interest, fascination and enjoyment of sport and major sporting events  
  • Previous experience in the fields of physiotherapy, medical care and/or anti-doping is an advantage 
  • Strong communication skills  
  • Open, friendly demeanour, team player 
  • Structured way of working 
  • Good knowledge of Office 365  
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
