The positions are located within the Media Services department. As part of our media management team, you will help to provide the best possible working conditions for journalists, photographers, and other media representatives attending this global multisport event.
Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:
- Lead the Main Press Centre (MPC) operations at the venue at Messe Essen
- Set up the press conference and interview rooms when applicable
- Ensure optimal working conditions for international media representatives
- Support Media Accreditation Manager in managing media accreditation desk
- Set up and manage information desks
- Produce a final report summarizing media operations, results, and any lessons learned
Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:
- Experience in media operations for large sports events
- Leadership experience and the ability to manage volunteers
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
- Technical understanding of media infrastructure and venue operations
- Familiarity with media accreditation processes and press conference organization
