In 2025, the world will come to the Rhine and Ruhr region to celebrate sport, science and culture. Up to 8,500 athletes and officials from around 150 nations will compete in six cities for 12 days - in 18 different sports. Standards are set here - where the densest university landscape in Europe meets the most sports clubs in Germany, in one exceptionally sport-loving region.

Supervisor Merchandise (m/f/d)
 
In freelance work (fee-for-service contract) for the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games
temporary contract from 16.07. to 28.07.2025
 
The position is located in the merchandise area. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for requesting merchandise sales and managing the volunteers during the event.

Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:

  • Administration
  • Inventory reporting
  • Processing of returns

Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Social, customer friendliness
  • Product knowledge, handling of payless cash system
  • A diverse & exciting job at the world's largest multi-sport event in 2025
  • Direct contact with participating professional athletes
  • Insights into the organization of a major sporting event
  • Standard market remuneration and food/drink vouchers
 
The work is remunerated with a daily allowance. This will be discussed individually. Travel expenses incurred during the assignment will be reimbursed in accordance with the provisions of the North Rhine-Westphalia Travel Expenses Act.
