Up to 8,500 athletes and officials from around 150 nations will compete in six cities for 12 days - in 18 different sports. Standards are set here - where the densest university landscape in Europe meets the most sports clubs in Germany, in one exceptionally sport-loving region.

Uniform Coordinator (m/f/d)
 
In freelance work (fee-for-service contract) for the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games
Full-time
 
Duration of the assignments will be agreed upon during the recruitment process.

The position is located in the Volunteer Management department. As Uniform Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning, logistics and distribution of uniforms for all groups before and during the event.

Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:

  • Close cooperation with the Uniform Manager and the Volunteer Team
  • Management of uniform distribution to all client groups
  • Collaboration with all departments within the Organising Committee 
  • Ensuring good communication with the client groups in German and English
  • Support in volunteer management

Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Relevant professional experience in uniform or volunteer management in the planning and successful realisation of an event of a similar scale
  • Strong project management skills
  • Above average Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Well-structured, conceptual and networked thinking. Strong hands-on mentality
  • Persuasiveness, assertiveness & organisational skills paired with high emotional intelligence
  • High degree of flexibility and an engaging demeanour
  • Communication skills in German and English

The work is remunerated with a project fee, which depends on the duration of the employment, the requirements of the sport and the experience and expertise you bring with you.
