In 2025, the world will come to the Rhine and Ruhr region to celebrate sport, science and culture. Up to 8,500 athletes and officials from around 150 nations will compete in six cities for 12 days - in 18 different sports. Standards are set here - where the densest university landscape in Europe meets the most sports clubs in Germany, in one exceptionally sport-loving region.

Video Editor / Videographer (m/f/d)
 
In the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games
Full-time / 40 hours per week / temporary contract until late summer 2025.
 
The position is located in the Marketing department. As an experienced and creative Video Editor / Videographer (m/f/d), you will support our team in creating stylish and effective content.

Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:

  • Planning, conception and realisation of video projects for various platforms (e.g. social media, YouTube, website)
  • Editing of existing video material
  • Filming and editing of videos (sports, culture, science - action shots, portraits, interviews, events, product + live events etc.)
  • Professional editing and post-production (editing, animations, colour correction, sound design etc.)
  • Development and implementation of creative ideas to visualise our brand messages
  • Optimisation of videos for different formats and channels
  • Close collaboration with our marketing and creative team to ensure a consistent corporate design

Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Completed training or studies in the field of media, design, communication or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in video production and editing
  • Very good knowledge of video editing programmes (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Creativity, innovative ability and a good feel for trends and aesthetics
  • Organised, independent way of working and high motivation
  • Knowledge of animation and motion design is a plus
  • Team spirit and strong communication skills
 
We are a young & growing organisation in the heart of the Rhine-Ruhr Innovation Hub. You will play a key role in the Organising Committee in the successful planning and implementation of the FISU Games.
