Up to 8,500 athletes and officials from around 150 nations will compete in 6 cities for 12 days - in 18 different sports. Working Student Website Content Management (m/f/d)
 
In the implementing company of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games
Part-time / up to 20 hours per week / temporary contract until late summer 2025
 
The position is part of the Media Services department. As a working student in Website Content Management, you will support the media team in creating content and subpages for the official homepage of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games (rhineruhr2025.com) – both during the preparation phase and the event itself. This role offers an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to the digital presence of the FISU Games in Germany and to professionally manage information for various stakeholder groups.

Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:

  • Creation and preparation of website content in close collaboration with the relevant departments
  • Independent creation of subpages in the Content Management System (CMS)
  • Support in coordinating and aligning the requirements of various departments (FAs)
  • Close collaboration with the Language Services department to ensure high-quality translations
  • Assistance in proofreading content in cooperation with the Publications department
  • Assistance with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the functionality and user-friendliness of the website
  • Support in creating graphics in close coordination with the Content Creation department
  • Assistance in searching for and selecting suitable images for the website
  • Independent research to gather relevant information for projects and website content
  • Assistance in managing and organising project documents

Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Enrolment at a college/university/vocational school
  • Preferably a degree in marketing, communications, sports and event management or sports science
  • Experience in creating and formulating texts
  • Initial experience with web content management systems (e.g., Contentful)
  • Affinity for content creation and a good eye for aesthetics
  • Detail-oriented and precise working style
  • Passion for the targeted and engaging presentation of information on digital platforms
  • Good understanding of the information needs of various stakeholders at large sporting events
  • Very good German and English skills (minimum C1 level)
  • Independent, responsible, and proactive working style
  • Initial experience in content creation, including image editing
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop, and other common communication tools
  • Basic technical understanding and interest in digital tools
