- Bochum: 3x3 basketball, 3x3 wheelchair basketball, athletics
- Mülheim: badminton
Specifically, your area of responsibility will focus on the following tasks:
- Act as the primary Sport Presentation/Event Presentation contact at the venue level
- Manage and coordinate all members of the Sport Presentation team in the venue
- Develop, deliver, and execute minute-by-minute live format rundowns for all competition days. The rundowns, based on the DCAS (Detailed Competition Activities Schedule), include all official sport format protocol, general and specific announcements, athlete presentation and introductions, music, video and entertainment elements from the moment Venue Gates open to spectators to the time Venue Gates close
- Implement the live Sport Presentation show by providing concise directions and live show cues to Announcers, Audio Operators, DJs, Assistants, Video Operators, Field Talents, Floor/Stage Managers, Event Presentation Volunteers
- Manage and perform all necessary rehearsals prior to competition days
- Participate in all Venue Briefing and Debrief meetings
- Work closely with various Functional Areas managers to ensure requirements captured during operational planning phases and carry out during Games Time operations
Ideally you have the following skills and knowledge:
- Experience working as a Venue Producer or Show Caller, with a specific focus on sport events
- Strong leadership and ability to manage and work well with a team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience working with intercoms and radios
- Experience working with DCAS
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a dynamic environment
- Good understanding of the challenges of live production
- Working proficiency of English required, ideally German as well
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Experience and knowledge of RR2025 sports is a bonus
